Celebrating 20 years as a Napa Valley landmark!
Racecar legend Mario Andretti and Joe Antonini met over 30 years ago and became good friends over their love for wine and Italian heritage. Mario and Joe founded Andretti Winery in 1996 to bring old world charm and Italian winemaking processes to the Napa Valley. This year, these good friends celebrate the 20th anniversary of Andretti Winery with club members, special guests and family. The anniversary festivities are a buzz at the winery as the team is pouring a special 20th anniversary wine tasting flight of limited release wines open to the public. Club members and special guests enjoyed a beautiful dinner party outside of the Tuscan villa on Saturday, July 23rd followed by a brunch with live music on July 24th.
Club members and visitors from throughout the nation have made Andretti Winery a regular destination when visiting the Napa Valley. The beautiful backdrop, relaxing atmosphere and award winning wines provide the perfect winery experience. Visitors can schedule advance reservations for VIP tastings and corporate events in the beautiful Tuscan Villa. Andretti Winery is known for its warm, “Old World Italian Charm,” as visitors are greeted by friendly staff, many who have been a part of the Andretti team for more than ten years.
“We are grateful to be celebrating 20 years of business success in the Napa Valley. It’s a very important milestone for a small business. I’m especially appreciative for the great number of visitors to our public tasting room and for the support of local tour guides and event planners who have helped to make Andretti Winery a special destination for wine lovers and race fans alike. It’s a wonderful environment to just kick back and relax. I just can’t thank everyone enough for their support in keeping us around for 20 years. I pledge to keep our wines consistently excellent.” - Mario Andretti
Visitors to Andretti Winery are transported back in time
Guests are delighted when they arrive and walk up to a beautiful Tuscan Villa nestled alongside a quiet country lane in the heart of the legendary Napa Valley. Modeled after a rambling Italian village, the winery conjures up the boyhood home of its namesake, Mario Andretti, the finest racecar driver of all time. The moment one arrives to Andretti Winery, time slows down and the sights and sounds of Italy delight the senses. Passing through a beautiful archway that leads into an Italian courtyard, visitors are surprised to see an Italian fountain, reminiscent of those found in the piazzas in Italy. As guests stroll through the grounds at Andretti Winery, Italian music is heard through the long corridor surrounding the villa.
A recent visitor to Andretti Winery shared his experience in a blog.
“Roger started us with the 2015 Pinot Grigio. We loved the aromas of lemon and pear and the refreshingly crisp flavors, including a surprising dash of pineapple. What a wonderful start to our day of wine tasting! We then tasted their 2013 Dolcetto, with blackberry and plum aromas and a well-balanced blackberry and dark cherry taste, with hints of coffee and toast on the finish. This was so nice that we put a bottle on our “take home” list right away.” – John, “Wine Tasting Bliss”
Andretti Winery is renowned for its portfolio of fine “Cal-Ital” Style wines featuring traditional regional varietals, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, as well as award-winning luxury Italian varietals, Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio and Barbera.
