Newly Opened BACA Wines
Invites You to Visit this Holiday Season
Tucked away in the northern part of Sonoma County is one of Wine Country’s best kept secrets – Healdsburg. Coming from far and wide to visit the region’s tourist attractions and tasting rooms, visitors are drawn to Healdsburg’s sense of character and authenticity. Continuously awarded as one of the top 10 small towns in America, Healdsburg is a Northern California oasis. Full of artisan restaurants, boutiques and, of course, incredible wine, Healdsburg is quickly being added to every wine aficionado’s travel bucket list. The newest brand to call Healdsburg home just in time for the holiday season is BACA Wines.
BACA, the modern Zinfandel brand launched in 2018 and spearheaded by Director Jennifer Brown, opened its tasting room doors at 779 Westside Road just in time for the holiday season. Thousands of tourists visit wine country, and BACA has recently made headlines as being a “must visit” tasting room when planning visits to Healdsburg. The modern brand also just released its annual Holiday Gift Guide for 2019, www.bacawines.com/gifts, a collection that includes ideal gifts for the wine connoisseur, the budding oenophile, the happy host and the sophisticated boss.
BACA’s tasting room includes a hand-crafted bar adorned with modern art, and a large patio for a variety of tasting experiences. The tasting room is co-branded with WALT Wines, another luxury wine brand owned by Craig and Kathryn Hall, Jennifer Brown’s parents. The name “BACA” means berry in Latin and pays homage to Zinfandel as the original California grape, boasting some of the oldest vines in the state. The luxury wine brand celebrates the California Zinfandel varietal while having some fun along the way. Throughout the conceptualization and execution of this Zinfandel brand, Director Jennifer Brown has made sure that adventure has always remained at the very core of BACA Wines.
“We believe that wine is best enjoyed with friends – especially during the holidays. We always want to remember that, while BACA’s wine is seriously delicious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously,” shares Brown. “Wine and games are two things with the ability to bring people together, and we are so excited to now be able to showcase both at our new tasting room. We would love to see you all this winter, whether that means in person or on your holiday tables.”
To stay true to their playful side, all BACA wines are named after games. Double Dutch, Cat’s Cradle, Tug O’ War, I Spy and the newly released Marbles – all Zinfandels – are available at the new Healdsburg location, as well as the fan-favorite Ring Around the Rosé canned wine.
