Just the Right Venue for Your Holiday Party
During the holiday season, most businesses host a holiday celebration. Chamisal’s patio and tasting room might be the
perfect place for your event. Guests can relax on the patio, take a walk on the vineyard grounds, or spend some time in the tasting
room sampling the award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, or other wines. To make reservations for a holiday celebration, email email@example.com.
Another way to celebrate the season is by making Chamisal a one-stop-shop for the perfect gifts. You can purchase individual bottles, or buy a 6-bottle or 12-bottle pack for entertaining. Everything from Chamisal comes wrapped in their signature holiday boxes.
Examples of gift box selections include:
• Estate Pinot Noir and Estate Chardonnay
• Califa Pack with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
Make Chamisal wines the centerpiece of a holiday celebration. One of the ways to enjoy Chamisal’s wines is by pairing them with seasonal foods that complement the flavors, such as the vineyard’s Rhone varietals. The Grenache and the Syrah, with their rich, deep flavors of cranberry and raspberry go beautifully with turkey, prime rib or wild mushroom polenta. Whether you enjoy the wines with hors d’oeuvres, or at a sit-down holiday dinner, they can be the highlight of any event.
Wines to Look Forward to
Chamisal’s winemaking philosophy involves doing everything possible to bring out the natural characteristics of the estate fruit. All vineyard work is done by hand. Harvesting is completed in a series of stages, with each grape block checked four times to ensure grapes are picked at their ideal ripeness. The wines are then fermented in barrels made of French oak.
While the harvest started a little later than in the past few years, it benefitted from a heat wave in late August and early September. Winemaker Fintan Du Fresne said that the later harvest, and intense heat, was great for the grapes’ development; the flavor of the grapes was enhanced.
