Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery
Founded in 1981 by Don and Rhonda Carano, Ferrari-Carano is home to award-winning wines, five acres of beautiful gardens and breathtaking vineyard views. Starting with a small, 30-acre vineyard in the late ’70s, Ferrari-Carano has grown to about 1,900 certified sustainably-farmed vineyard acres in six appellations. Visit the beautiful home of Ferrari-Carano wines, the spectacular Italianate hospitality center, Villa Fiore, on the 70-acre Dry Creek Valley ranch with estate vineyards and beautiful gardens.
Wine Tasting Daily
At the winery, visitors may taste classic and limited-release wines in the Villa Fiore Wine Shop, in the Enoteca located in the underground cellar, or on Il Terrazzo, the outdoor terrace overlooking the vineyards. On Il Terrazzo and depending on the day, choose to relax on the terrace with table service from the Villa Fiore tasting bar, try a wine flight for $30 (five wines) which includes an Ferrari-Carano logo glass, or if you prefer to relax and sip at your own pace, choose a wine by the glass or bottle for your enjoyment. Choose your favorite wine and stay awhile to take in the beautiful garden views.

Sustainable Vineyard Practices
Ferrari-Carano and Lazy Creek Vineyards have long practiced sustainable farming techniques to help protect the lands they farm – both vineyard and agriculture – and the environment that surrounds them. Don and Rhonda Carano realized early on that to achieve their goal of producing memorable, quality wines they needed to start in the vineyards and not focus solely on the winemaking. Inspired to meet their present goals while preserving the land, Don and Rhonda made the commitment to implement sustainable farming techniques from vineyard to bottle. In 2014, directed by Don Carano and orchestrated under the supervision of Steve Domenichelli, Director of Vineyard Operations, Ferrari-Carano’s then 24 vineyards earned California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA) certification, becoming a Certified California Sustainable Vineyard for their numerous efforts to preserve the land for future generations. The certification acknowledges Ferrari-Carano for being conscientious of the environment, surroundings, neighbors and their labor force on their vineyard ranches. The same may be true of Lazy Creek Vineyards, as the winery is a Certified California Sustainable Vineyard and Winery.
