With spring upon us, be sure to have a few bottles of the 2019 Dry Sangiovese Rosé from Sonoma County on hand to celebrate the return of beautiful weather. This refreshing wine was awarded the Sweepstakes Winner and Best of Class at the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Delicate aromas and flavors of fresh-picked strawberries, Maraschino cherries, raspberries, orange blossoms, cranberries, and pomegranate play on the palate. The 2017 Tré Terre Chardonnay received 90 points from Wine Spectator, while the 2017 Pinot Noir received a Gold Medal at the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Ferrari-Carano also produces Fumé Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sangiovese, Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trésor, a Cabernet Sauvignon-based red blend, and Siena, a Sangiovese‐based, red wine blend. Reserve and limited vineyard-select wines are also available directly from the winery.
Every Monday through April you can enjoy a complimentary tasting of two wines at Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery in Dry Creek Valley or at Seasons of the Vineyard Wine Shop in downtown Healdsburg.
