Sustainably-grown estate grapes
Laetitia’s Tasting Room, accessible just inland off Hwy. 101 and within view of the Pacific, is located at 453 Laetitia Vineyard Drive in Arroyo Grande. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m, the hilltop vineyard features bocce ball, picnic availability, and a walking trail to pair with picture-postcard views and a selection of wines. Winemakers Eric Hickey and Dave Hickey and Vineyard Operations VP Lino Bozzano collaborate to utilize grapes of varying soil mixes from across 300-plus acres. Laetitia is situated within the Arroyo Grande AVA, where temperatures hover between 49.2 and 72.3 degrees during the growing season.
From weed-controlling goats to water and energy conservation, Laetitia is among the very first SIP Certified operations by the Central Coast Vineyard Team. To be approved, this vineyard stewardship organization requires that vineyards pass a formidable independent audit of ten criteria to become certified, including earth-sustainable and technologically sound viticultural practices, social treatment and pest management.
