Jill Thayer, Ph.D. is an artist, educator, curator & writer. She was born in Sacramento, CA & lived in Bakersfield prior to relocating to the Central Coast in 2014. Her acrylic paintings & digital media are inspired by the region from panoramic vistas of local vineyards to the sublime vistas of the Pacific. Her favorite areas include the coastal sojourns of Cambria & Montaña de Oro, and the oak forests of Atascadero.
