Breathtaking views, wine tasting and sizzling jazz! Rodney Strong Vineyards presents its 18th annual “Jazz in the Vineyard” summer concert series with an impressive array of musicians over six separate weekend dates. Surrounded by acres of beautiful vineyards, guests at Rodney Strong Vineyards are treated to some of the top acts in contemporary jazz, as well as the occasional crossover artist. Concerts are performed on the lush Green providing an intimate venue experience along with picnicking and wine tasting. This year’s schedule, which begins Saturday, June 21st, is highlighted by appearances from Bay Area favorite Boz Scaggs, five-time Grammy Award winner Michael McDonald, chart-topping trumpeter Chris Botti, contemporary jazz supergroup Fourplay and many others. Pinot Party
San Francisco’s premier wine festival is back for its 4th year! Experience the hottest grape on the planet and dive into Pinot Noir as over 170 producers from around the world will be pouring their finest at the Pinot Days Grand Tasting. If you have a passion for Pinot, this is a can’t miss event as it allows consumers and members of the trade an opportunity to taste a wide variety of Pinots from every California appellation, as well as those from other Pinot-producing states and countries. Winemakers and owners do the actual pouring allowing attendees to interact with the producers in a relaxed, casual setting. Participation in Friday’s Winemakers Gala Dinner is $150 per person. Gold Tasting
Awashed in rustic charm and rural solitude, there’s a gold mine of luxurious wines in Calaveras Wine Country. Pahlmeyer Winery presents the 6th annual Napa Valley Comedy Night.
