The first-time visitors may come for the wine, but quickly discover there is much more to Castoro Cellars than just sampling award-winning wines. There is a feeling of tranquility, friendship, family – and a special “state of being” that comes over you once you relax, sip and experience some of the exceptional wines from grapes grown on the estate. You may also be treated to a glass of Castoro’s “bubbly,” learning this is one of the few Paso Robles wineries producing a California sparkling wine, using the traditional “méthode Champenoise.”  
You will find this is not only a winery with a great tasting room, but also a visionary – a trendsetter and innovator. Having a state-of-the-art facility, Castoro has made a commitment to promoting sustainable practices and organic farming. It is SIP certified, and has solar panels to power the winery. Their Bethel Rd. Distillery, located across the street, currently offers two Italian grappas, two brandies and a gin being produced, and available for tasting.
