Since the turn of the 19th century, Steve Ledson’s family has been one of the most renowned agricultural family and land steward of Sonoma wine country. From a history
of ranching in Yosemite Valley to growing prunes, hay, walnuts, and of course, wine grapes in Sonoma Valley, the Ledson heritage is one of farming, hard work and respect for the land. Steve Ledson envisioned Ledson Winery in the heart of Kenwood where his grandparents once lived. Today, Ledson Winery & Vineyards produces more than 70 different quality wines — up to 20 different varietals and blends from as many as 10 appellations, with many going on to score in the mid-to-high 90s in competitions, with wine reviewers, and in publications all over the world.
Ledson Winery is located just a few miles east from Santa Rosa in The Valley of the Moon (Sonoma Valley). The gorgeous building that houses the winery and tasting room, called “The Ledson Castle,” is a true gothic masterpiece. You’ve got to see this winery and taste their wines – this is a one-of-a-kind place!
