John Evan Cellars
A Livermore Winery, about 40 miles east of San Francisco. They specialize in handcrafted, small-lot, luxury wines of rare quality with an emphasis on Rhone-type varieties. They host two labels at the winery – Big White House and the premium label, John Evan Cellars. They don’t do manicured lawns and fountains. What they do is produce big, balanced reds and tasty whites using traditional methods. They serve in an informal tasting room that encourages exceptional tasting experiences with intimate opportunities to learn about their wine.
