St. Francis Winery & Vineyards is located just east of Santa Rosa on scenic, gently winding Highway 12. The winery and surrounding grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and serene – natural landscaping and acres of well-manicured vineyards surround the mission-like buildings.
A RETURN TO REAL WINEMAKING
Sustainably natural is an excellent way to describe this special place. Here’s why:
- All the estate vineyards are farmed using sustainable, earth-friendly methods.
- The wines are made using “Pure Winemaking” methods – using sustainably grown fruit and wild yeast, and not using any additives. That’s about as pure as you can get!

SHOP AND SIP
The tasting room is spacious and airy, with open beam ceilings, a long wooden tasting bar, a fireplace for cool winter days, and oversized windows to let in the fantastic views and warm Sonoma County sunshine. Tasteful displays of wine-related merchandise (shopper’s heaven!) are placed around the room. The tasting room team is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, without a whiff of pretension. The whole vibe is one of understated, casual elegance.
