Now, guests have an opportunity to try out the newest tasting experience, the engaging and educational Bennett Lane aroma wheel where deepening one’s appreciation of wine aromas is part of the process.
Built and handcrafted by the Bennett Lane winemaking team, the aroma wheel brings a unique experience where participants get to explore the wide range of scents found in wine through a friendly little competition. Spin the aroma wheel, guess the aroma that appears, and challenge your senses while learning more about the complexities of wine. No prior knowledge of wine is necessary — just come ready to play and explore.

“Making the aroma/roulette wheel allowed me to combine my passion for attention to detail and the pursuit of excellence, whether winemaking or woodworking,” said winemaker Rob Hunter. “I’ve been working with wood for over 50 years and enjoy the focus and patience it requires.  It was a joy to work with Bennett Salts, our Enologist, who did all of the artwork.”
Each aroma wheel experience includes a curated flight of four Bennett Lane premium wines, perfectly paired to highlight the aromas you’ll encounter. “At just $65 per person, this tasting is ideal for wine lovers of all levels who want to enjoy a memorable and educational time in our relaxed and welcoming atmosphere,” said Longton.

Founded in 2003 by Randy and Lisa Lynch, Bennett Lane Winery was inspired by Italy’s wine and food culture with a winemaking philosophy that produces wines that complement a meal rather than overshadow it. The results include succulent Cabernets and their signature “red feasting wine” Maximus, which demonstrates the Lynch’s commitment to making wine an integral part of entertaining with family and friends.

One important note: guests are asked to refrain from wearing scented perfumes or lotions, as it may interfere with the sensory experience.
