Since COVID guidelines restrict many people from traveling to the region, The Wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains decided to launch a brand new wine club program so that everyone can savor the flavors of the AVA safely at home. With more than 70 wineries and 200 growers in the region, even locals will have the chance to step outside of their comfort zone and discover new favorites. 
 

• The Pinot Collection features four pinot noirs from sub-regions throughout the AVA. Pinot is a star in the Santa Cruz Mountains, where coastal influences create ideal conditions for this finicky grape to thrive. 

• The Classic Collection will feature one chardonnay, two pinot noirs and one Bordeaux-style wine per shipment to highlight the grape-growing diversity of the region. 

• The Mountain Bordeaux Collection spotlights some of the most sought-after vineyards and producers by sharing cabernet sauvignon and Bordeaux varieties full of intense flavors. 

Launching in February, a membership includes three four-bottle shipments per year, access to virtual tastings with the winemakers, 15% off additional wine purchases, access to Santa Cruz Mountain library wines, special discounts and offers on events and programs and more. Each shipment is $140-$200, based on club choice and current offerings and can be delivered or picked up at the Wines of the Santa Cruz Mountains office in Aptos, CA.
