HALLECK VINEYARD
SONOMA COUNTY’S HIDDEN JEWEL

For those of you old enough to remember “way back in the day” when White Zinfandel was all the rage…suffice to say that Halleck Vineyard has reinvented White Zinfandel with their award winning “Not Your Mother’s Dry White Zinfandel.” Elegant, sophisticated, and refined, this is just a taste of the classy (and classic) wines you will experience on a visit to this boutique, small production winery. Halleck Vineyard is recognized for their variety and especially their Pinot Noir.

TASTE THE SONOMA COAST

Located in Sebastopol, Halleck is off the well beaten wine tasting roads-and so worth the journey. Tastings at Halleck are intimate, personal, and unhurried. Savor the magic with owner Ross Halleck or Harris Miner, a gifted wine expert as you experience eight different wines, each specially paired with small bites that are locally produced and sourced. The thoughtful pairings bring out the subtle nuances of each wine you taste.

THE WINES AND THE VINEYARDS

Your journey at Halleck will include award winning Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Not Your Mother’s Dry White Zinfandel (of course), and four Pinot Noirs.
These wines, mostly with fruit sourced from carefully selected vineyards along the Sonoma Coast-have received accolades, awards and high scores from esteemed reviewers and wine competitions such as: The Tasting Panel, Pinot Report, Wine Advocate Magazine, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Sunset International Wine Competition, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, California State Fair…to name a few. Halleck Vineyard took Best of Class, #1 Pinot in the US, in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition...the largest and oldest in the country.

Year after year, Halleck Vineyard receives high praise and recognition for their entire line-up, including their stylish Provençal-style Rosé which certainly is NOT your mother’s dry White Zinfandel!
Halleck’s “piece de resistance” is their estate grown Pinot Noir, using exclusively grapes from their own one-acre vineyard. In 2002, the initial vintage, the estate Pinot Noir was judged #1 Pinot Noir in the United States, in the Pinot Noir Summit, organized by Affairs of the Vine. As Ross Halleck describes, “this is the closest thing you will find to a Grand Cru Burgundy in the United States.” THIS is Halleck’s flagship wine, defining the quality and exceptionality of this special site. In 2018 this estate vineyard was named “one of the top 5 vineyards in Sonoma County” by the SOMM Journal.
On your next trip to the Sonoma area take the road less travelled. Experience and immerse yourself in the hospitality, elegance, relaxation, and notable wines of Halleck Vineyard.
