Experience a taste of the Golden State during this live Zoom event on Friday, January 29, 2021, at 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST, hosted by James Beard award-winning cheese author and speaker Laura Werlin, Winemaster Randy Ullom from Kendall-Jackson, Winemaker Jill Russell from Cambria, and Cheese Specialist Tracey Shepos Cenami from La Crema. This lively conversational event pairs a curated selection of cheeses from three California creameries with signature expressions from three exceptional wineries in California.

Begin in Santa Barbara, with a distinctive, cool-climate Chardonnay from Cambria that pairs with the soft-ripened goat milk cheese from Humboldt Fog. Continue north to the acclaimed Sonoma Coast appellation with an elegant, layered Pinot Noir from La Crema that pairs with a creamy, alpine-style sheep milk cheese “Aries” from Shooting Star Creamery. Traverse inland to complete your journey among the higher-elevation vineyards in Alexander Valley and Knights Valley in Sonoma County that grow the grapes for the full-bodied, structured Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon paired with Vella Cheese Company "Dry Jack Reserve", a rich cow’s milk cheese with a caramel-like finish.
