On Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:30pm, the folks at Tedeschi Family
Winery will be hosting their tri-annual Pick-Up Party! Covid safe and socially distanced, of
course, and you are invited!
This event has evolved over the past year to be just what the doctor ordered. Ticket holders will
cruise alongside the vineyard to check in. First stop is the Game Table which is played from your
car where everyone will be a winner. Next, we’ll offer some wine samplers and something fresh
and yummy from a local caterer; pull forward to your spot in the parking lot and enjoy some live
music while we load your wine club selections or purchase of any amount into your trunk or
back seat while you are listening to live music!
The February Family four-pack Wine Club selections are 2017 Petite Sirah, 2018 Viognier, 2018
Brothers’ Blend and 2015 Merlot. Join the club and come to the party with discounted ticket
price of $5 (limit two per membership). Tickets for non-members are $25 per person.

About Tedeschi Family Winery

Tedeschi Family Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery producing fewer than 2,000
cases a year in the style of the “old-world.” Emil Tedeschi’s grandparents settled in Calistoga in
1919, emigrating from Pisa, Italy. Their son, Eugene acquired the property that currently
houses the winery and family home in 1951, where he planted the family’s first grapevines
among established fruit trees. In 1991, Emil, Eugene’s son returned as steward after
cofounding one of Hawaii’s most successful wineries: Tedeschi Vineyards – Maui. The
Calistoga winery has become the passion and single focus of Emil’s two sons Emilio and Mario.
“We want to make wines our grandparents would be proud of. Traditionally made, oldworld
wines that can be enjoyed with a variety of foods, good company, and from your
wine cellar”, says Mario Tedeschi, Winemaker.
Together, with Emilio acting as General Manager and winemakers Mario Tedeschi and David
Sundberg making the wine, they have sought out and committed to handcrafting old-world
style wines from several small and neighboring vineyards to produce Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, Primitivo, Malbec, Viognier, Rosé of Gamay, Tempranillo and a
Late Harvest wine of Sauvignon Blanc. Each of the vineyards are specially selected and handtended.
Tedeschi Family Winery is located at 2779 Grant Street, Calistoga, CA 94515, just a half a
mile south of Old Faithful Geyser. Visitors are invited to the winery daily by appointment from
10:30 to 5 for tasting when Covid restrictions are lifted. There is no commercial signage, so
look for the address (2779 Grant St) and a big barrel to enjoy the winery’s private setting!
